A contest of epic proportions!

Yes it is contest time. And not just any type of contest. a PHOTO contest. Easy right?! Is your curiosity killing you yet? Now for the deets...
We've all heard of the "craze" of planking. I mean folks are lying down everywhere! And if you are on Facebook you know that I found another "craze"...owling. I mean really? LOL. Where do people even find the time to look into this stuff? Anyhoo...I found the time to find something. It's called flamingo-ing. And I want to see you flamingo! Yes I know they're knees bend the other way, but it would still make for some fun interpretations. I will run this for 1 week and we'll let the people vote! And by people I mean my sweet Juju. If he chooses your picture you will get a $15 gift card to Target and your winning picture printed and framed in all its beautiful flamingo glory.
In order to participate you just have to "LIKE" my FB page. All pictures will be submitted there. No nudity please!
So let's do it! Contest starts today and will go until next Thursday July 28th. Winner will be announced on Friday the 29th.

Boy am I pooped!

So I typed out my title, walked away from my desk, came back and realized I had actually typed in "Boy I pooped!" Good thing I noticed and changed it HA!

July has been full steam ahead for my fam bam. The first weekend we celebrated Juju's 5th birthday (pictures to come). That first week I also started Insanity. Oh, oh...my company also had our last softball game of the season. Which btw we lost. We actually never won a single game, but we always had fun. We celebrated our losing streak with a pool party right after. This past weekend we went to 2 pool parties, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday: the one on Saturday was a 4th birthday and Sunday, was just because. So I've basically been living in a bikini all month long lol. Hey that doesn't bother me except for when I have to put on clothes to go to work. Big fat BOO! I'm starting to not like working at my job, but I won't get into that.

I've officially started teaching hula/tahitian classes. Its soooo much fun! My students are just great! They are so eager to learn about the culture and language. I get excited for every class. I hope to start teaching some kids and eventually, besides teaching at the hula school, I want to do a hula/tahitian fitness class. A polynesian dance fitness class. Whoa now that is a mouthful LOL. Trying to see if I can teach an hour long class at a local gym. Should be lots of fun.

I've also been furiously planning a surprise birthday party for Big Daddy. Its super stressful. Well let me re-phrase...it is STUPID stressful. The day and place is all planned out. He has no clue. But then out of the blue he wants to plan a trip for the weekend of the party to watch a rugby tourney in Colorado. What the hezzy?!! I've been trying to certain friends to run some defense to keep him here but so far nothing is really working. GRRRRRR! I am getting frustrated but can't even say anything to him lol. I'll keep y'all updated.

I do have some FUN news...I am going to be having a contest! A picture contest at that! So keep your eyes peeled....

Whaddup foos!

Yes foos...not fooLs...no 'L'
3 words: I HEART JULY! I double squishy heart it lol. I think its mostly that I love the summer weather, and July is right smack dab, in my opinion, the middle of summer.
The month did come very quickly.  Since we are going through a drought here, the city of Austin decided no fireworks show for the fourth. So we got in the car and drove about 15 minutes north to Georgetown for their 4th of July family fun day/picnic....
*we fed some goats*

*followed some geese/ducks*

*talked to some horseys*

*man handled some chicks...the feathered kind, not the boobs & legs kind*

*got our faces painted. It's Spider-BamBam & blue Spider-Juju*

*and there were fireworks! Isn't that little guy just the cutest?! Ugh I hate the flash on my iPhone*

So even though the drought stopped the fireworks fun in Austin, a  quick 15 min drive north, we got to party like rock stars! And with all that kinds of fun its no doubt we crashed out...

Hope y'all had a great 4th! Now its time to get ready for Juju's 5th birthday party.
