Fitness Friday - a link up and share

Ladies (and gents) its not just about bikini season.
It's about LIVING a healthy life.

Y'all know how much I obsess love to workout. I've teamed up with Duckie to bring you nothing but fitness/workout goodness every Friday from now on. And we want to hear from you too! Tell us what your doing or eating or both. Got a great exercise that you love? Link up and tell everyone about it! Let's challenge and motivate each other.

So for my first Fitness Friday post, I want to talk about time. We all have it, but we all wish he had more of it. "Not enough hours in the day." I used to think like this too. Especially when it came to working out. Well I have a (mini) solution for you = 4 minutes. Yup that's right. Just 4 minutes...

The workout:
0:00 - 0:20 high knees
0:20 - 0:30 rest
0:30 - 0:50 mountain climbers
0:50 - 1:00 rest
1:00 - 1:20 jump squats
1:20 - 1:30 rest
1:30 - 1:50 walking push ups
1:50 - 2:00 rest
2:00 - 2:20 high knees
2:20 - 2:30 rest
2:30 - 2:50 mountain climbers
2:50 - 3:00 rest
3:00 - 3:20 jump squats
3:20 - 3:30 rest
3:30 - 3:50 walking push ups
3:50 - 4:00 rest (WATER)

Feeling froggy? Do 2 sets with about a 1-2 min rest in between. Work up until you can do 3 sets. You can also definitely change up the exercises. MOST importantly...watch your form. Its not so much how many you can do right now in 20 seconds, but how many you can properly do without losing perfect form in 20 seconds. You can really hurt yourself if you're not careful.

I hope you join us every Friday for this new meme. Maybe y'all could even challenge me with new workouts.

  1. as a fellow non professional, I say...visit a chiropractor to help keep everything in alignment because people who workout a lot are especially prone to problems! I workout 6 days a week and go once a week, each and every time there is someone he has to knock back into place.
