Oh what a week

This has been one of those weeks...a lot going on but not a lot going on. So instead of  a LONG ASS post I'll make it easy for you:

life rearranged

*This was actually from last Saturday - Big Daddy's rugby team hosts a crawfish boil every year*

*Had to take my sweet guy to the doc for a terrible cough he had over the weekend*

*My Juju "graduated" from Kindergarten (sorry for the blurry picture..iPhone zoom sucks)*

*Big Daddy tested for AFD*

*While packing things up for our move, found the DVD when Big Daddy and I renewed our vows (and had our official Hawaiian Ceremony) in Hawaii*

*This child has been completely obsessed with Lion King, can you tell?*

Oh what a week it has been, and that's not even everything. We are coming down to the wire and will be in our new place on June 10th! SOOOOOOO EXCITED! I promise as soon as things slow down, y'all will definitely see more of me :-)

I'm cool *High-five*

You should follow me on twitter. I'm pretty cool and amazing and VERY random. So all in all its a very good time...

So this is how it went...
As I stated in my first tweet, I was in my car, sitting in traffic, when Lil Jon came on the radio. There's something magical about that beat that makes you get CRUNK almost instantly. That and his infamous "YE-YAH!" Moving on...So I was getting pretty crunk in my car bobbing my head when I look over and a car with 5 high school kids is looking at me bug eyed with their mouths hanging open. Not sure if they were staring impressed, embarrassed or what. Well the kid in the passenger seat signals for me to roll down my window. I so obliged and they asked me what I was listening to. I said in my best Lil Jon voice, "Lil Jon, YE-YAH!" Which was again followed by gaping mouths. The kid asked me, "Wow is that old school? Who is that?!"
Really kid? Really?! Who doesn't know the king of crunk? I mean even my 5 year old knows who that is.
Before I could come up with something not old sounding, they interrupt my thoughts by saying, "you need to listen to THIS" and turns their radio up super loud. I smile and pretty much yell back, "Oh...that's Kirko Bang."
The response I got was amazing LOL. It was like "Oh yeah" with some "That's the SHIT" added to "Lady you're awesome" mixed in with the kid hanging out of the car window to give me a high five. Yup I'm pretty damn cool....and old.

Fitness Friday - a link up and share

Ladies (and gents) its not just about bikini season.
It's about LIVING a healthy life.

Y'all know how much I obsess love to workout. I've teamed up with Duckie to bring you nothing but fitness/workout goodness every Friday from now on. And we want to hear from you too! Tell us what your doing or eating or both. Got a great exercise that you love? Link up and tell everyone about it! Let's challenge and motivate each other.

So for my first Fitness Friday post, I want to talk about time. We all have it, but we all wish he had more of it. "Not enough hours in the day." I used to think like this too. Especially when it came to working out. Well I have a (mini) solution for you = 4 minutes. Yup that's right. Just 4 minutes...

The workout:
0:00 - 0:20 high knees
0:20 - 0:30 rest
0:30 - 0:50 mountain climbers
0:50 - 1:00 rest
1:00 - 1:20 jump squats
1:20 - 1:30 rest
1:30 - 1:50 walking push ups
1:50 - 2:00 rest
2:00 - 2:20 high knees
2:20 - 2:30 rest
2:30 - 2:50 mountain climbers
2:50 - 3:00 rest
3:00 - 3:20 jump squats
3:20 - 3:30 rest
3:30 - 3:50 walking push ups
3:50 - 4:00 rest (WATER)

Feeling froggy? Do 2 sets with about a 1-2 min rest in between. Work up until you can do 3 sets. You can also definitely change up the exercises. MOST importantly...watch your form. Its not so much how many you can do right now in 20 seconds, but how many you can properly do without losing perfect form in 20 seconds. You can really hurt yourself if you're not careful.

I hope you join us every Friday for this new meme. Maybe y'all could even challenge me with new workouts.

32 years...an anniversary

So this past Friday, the 27th, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. Which I was later told was my womb departure anniversary. LOL. My friends are awesome! LOL
Anyways...what a day. Spent a part of it at the DMV getting my license transferred over. Painless process that didn't take long at all. It was made especially easy because on my way over there I got a call from my "twin" Mrs. H. Such a surprise that set my day on the right track. I was smiling from ear to ear. You know how when you meet someone for the first time and you just click and its awesome? Well we haven't actually met in person (at least not yet), but still we clicked and our friendship is fabulous! I have plans to visit her before the year ends. Watch out Miami...I am coming!
Most of day after that was spent with my BamBam.

He even picked me a "bootiful flower."
Big Daddy had his new student orientation that lasted a couple hours but when he got home we went and picked up Juju from school.
We got home and I'm always the last to get out of the car, but as I walked in the house, I saw Big Daddy rush into our bedroom and close the door. Teehee. I was so excited! Present time! Hahahahaha. He called the boys into the room and all together they came out with a big red box and a card.
I opened the box and it was love at first sight!

Before going to dinner we went to Juju's first school dance. It was more like one big game of tag, but he had a blast. (Will be posting a vid of BamBam dancing on my channel tonight.) After the dance we went to dinner at The Daily Grill. Mmmmmmmm.

Great day and night. We ended by crashing out around 9:30pm  LOL.
