Little barbarians back to school - Week 1

Last week, kids from all over went back to school. Including my little barbarians (yes I've been calling them "the dudes" for so long...but a friend of ours started calling Big Daddy "the barbarian" and now we're all barbarians LOL).
Week 1 is now over...bring on the homework!

So excited for the first day that they woke up early and finished breakfast early so they got to watch some PBSkids before we left.

The hardest thing was leaving BamBam in his class. First day of school for the little guy...yes I cried. Y'all know I'm a wuss. The 2nd hardest thing was knowing that he would be catching the school bus home. You see, pre-k in our new school district is "half day" which is from 7:45am to 10:45am. GAH! And at the advice of the teacher, he should ride the bus home on the first day instead of us picking him up. I was on edge all morning. I even walked to the bus stop a bit early...

My big guy! I got all teary eyed again as I watched him come off the bus and almost lost it when he ran into my arms. Sheesh...thank goodness he's the last one HA!

32 years...an anniversary

So this past Friday, the 27th, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. Which I was later told was my womb departure anniversary. LOL. My friends are awesome! LOL
Anyways...what a day. Spent a part of it at the DMV getting my license transferred over. Painless process that didn't take long at all. It was made especially easy because on my way over there I got a call from my "twin" Mrs. H. Such a surprise that set my day on the right track. I was smiling from ear to ear. You know how when you meet someone for the first time and you just click and its awesome? Well we haven't actually met in person (at least not yet), but still we clicked and our friendship is fabulous! I have plans to visit her before the year ends. Watch out Miami...I am coming!
Most of day after that was spent with my BamBam.

Big Daddy had his new student orientation that lasted a couple hours but when he got home we went and picked up Juju from school.
We got home and I'm always the last to get out of the car, but as I walked in the house, I saw Big Daddy rush into our bedroom and close the door. Teehee. I was so excited! Present time! Hahahahaha. He called the boys into the room and all together they came out with a big red box and a card.
I opened the box and it was love at first sight!

Before going to dinner we went to Juju's first school dance. It was more like one big game of tag, but he had a blast. (Will be posting a vid of BamBam dancing on my channel tonight.) After the dance we went to dinner at The Daily Grill. Mmmmmmmm.

 

Great day and night. We ended by crashing out around 9:30pm  LOL.

And no day is ever complete without FUN...

We are totally sun babies. Our plans every weekend consist of being outside. Most times we just chill in front of the house. That's all gonna change when we move into out apartment this summer. POOL TIME!

My day so far...

Today has really been a lazy Saturday...and its only 3:16pm. I blame the weather! I have had not one ounce of motivation today. I don't even think I brushed my hair this morning. LOL. Oh well. 
I posted my elevator pitch earlier this week and then just forgot about day 2 of the blog challenge. So thats what I'm trying to do now, but just can't seem to get it together lol. I should have something up tonight. Thanks to all who commented on my pitch. And as an update I am practicing saying it. So what if I only say it to big daddy like 3 times a day. Or call him on my lunch break just to say it...at least I'm practicing and getting more comfortable with it. I was going to revamp it a little, but I think I'll just leave it the way it is.
I do want to say ALOHA and WELCOME to all my new followers from yesterday's Friday Follow. I'm trying to catch up on ALL, yes I said ALL, the blogs listed. I would hate to miss great content just cuz theres 300+ links. I will conquer. Y'all seriously crack me up! 
I think thats the little one....ok I'm back. It wasn't. He's taking a nap and I thought he was waking up after being down for only 30 min. HA! I spoke too soon....How does something so small and cute be so damn loud!
