Because I'm sitting in avail...STILL
So it sucks to have to work on christmas day, but hey what are you gonna do? Its not so bad though..got here at 7am and didn't get a call until 9am. So again, not bad.
We opened gifts last night. Poor tank...he was so sleepy! And of course he was more into the wrapping paper than what was actually inside of it. Actually, he was more into everyone else's gifts than his own. Juju...oh Juju...got another set to his thomas the train set collection. He was so EXCITED!!!!! He walked up to my husband, looked him right in his eyes and said 'smoochies'. I thought my husband was gonna break down and cry right then and there. It was so sweet. He said he'll never forget that moment. But hey what about mama?! Nope, no smoochies for me...he just wanted daddy to open it up and set it up. We got Jase and Chad lego sets and a pair of chucks each. What is it with boys and shoes? They say we women are bad but sheesh, not in my house. Its pretty much equal. Everybody got clothes as usual. This year, the boys and I decided to get the hubby some workout stuff. Got him ab straps that go with his perfect pullups, a gift card to GNC for his vitamins, and a kettle ball. We all got things that we really wanted.
I wish they would just send us home already. They were talking about doing it but nothing yet. This is one of those times that I'm glad that I work in the business department now.
Well MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL! Hope yours is as truly blessed as mine!

It worked for me (short post)
Ok, so I was reading someone's blog yesterday while I was here at work, and she mentioned "the best lip moisturizer/cuticle softener". Well Juju always has really chapped lips. I had some "lip stuff" left over from this last pregnancy. Well anyways, I put it on him before he went to bed, and let me tell you...his lips were so soft this morning! So I jumped on the bandwagon and applied some before walking out the door this morning and let me tell you this...my lips have never felt this good...EVER!
So I endorse lansinoh nipple cream too!

Blog trolling for ideas
So this morning has been slow at my job, so i've been online trollin all the blogs that I follow. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of people blog about something specific each day. The best one I like is 'wordless wednesdays.' I may have to implement this practice along with designating specific things on other days of the week. At least I wont forget to update my blog like I keep promising myself I will. So thank you blog world! I'll be checking back in later on today to let y'all know the run down.

Walmart madness
As if Walmart wasn't already crowded, we had to throw Christmas in the loop and now its a darn MESS! The simple trips for milk and eggs, usually lasted about 10 maybe 15 minutes in and out. Now the trip includes waiting in these outrageously LONG lines, with only a handful of registers with their numbers lit up, making the trip out to be 30 minutes plus! The sign says "20 items or less". But yet our 'older' generation insists that 4 things of eggs only counts as 1 item, because to a certain degree, it IS only one item. AAARRRGGGHHH! And please DO NOT push your cart while looking in the complete OPPOSITE direction. I mean seriously? What sense does that make?
quick note...
Haven't been on in awhile as you can tell. Been busy with work and taking full advantage of these four days off from work. signed up for totspot.com. It's pretty cool...you can create a type of myspace/facebook page for your little ones. You can even make their profile public to share with your family and friends. I've only had the chance to add juju, but hopefully i"ll get some time today to add tank and the rest of my guys.

My early sunday morning
so here I am, another sunday at work. I honestly don't mind working because we get time and a half for it. so instead of just my regular 8 hour pay for working, I get an extra 4 hours of pay (without the extra 4 hours of work). And to top it off, i'm taking half a day of PDO. So I'll be getting paid for not even being here the whole time
M-I-L comes to visit today from Texas. Also coming with her are the hubby's 2 younger brothers. Crazy thing is, they're only coming for the day. They're driving almost 5 hours to stay maybe 5 hours to drive back home. We tried to convince her not to come, and even said the 6 of us would make the trip out to her this coming weekend but she said no. Stubborn woman. I mean seriously, she chose to spend all this money on 5 hours of visiting time when she could've saved gas and got an extra 2 days of visiting time. Whatever. She's not very smart.
Anyways...my phone just beeped..aaahhh the joys of call center work

A great goup of guys!
So, 4 of my guys are out there right now, braving traffic, crowds of people, and the chilly wind in search of a christmas present for me. Totally not what I expected, especially since the hubby hates being around a bunch of people. I feel kinda bad though because I didnt get home till after 1pm and they left after 3pm, AND I have to be back up at the job at 5:30pm. So they're out there doing this mad rush, and I'm sitting here at the computer while the baby sleeps, doing nothing.
I love my guys! My home is loud and all there is on tv is football games, basketball games, ufc, espn...but its times like these that make me smile.

Hubby received the perfect pull ups I ordered for him yesterday. He was like a kid on christmas and couldn't wait to set it up. He didn't want to put it outside where it could possibly get damaged by the rain so he decided that the best place for it would be in our bedroom doorway. But of course he had to wait. Tank was in his crib taking a nap. But let me tell you...as soon as we heard his cries and I got him outta his crib, he had taken everything out of the box and plastic that it came in and was measuring where everything was gonna be screwed in.
I must say that I like it. He showed me and the boys how to use it. I could really benefit from this too! The handles come off the bar so you can adjust it to your shoulder's width apart. He showed me three different ways to get my arms and back stronger in order to do regular pull ups on it.
So thanks to me, oh and my points from the j-o-b, we got a great workout device.
I totally recommend this to everyone...from the fitness dummy to the fitness pro.

This was definitely one of my favorites
So...I twitter...and got this from teaspoontimes today...
Stout still spurning trash duty by John Johnson, staff reporterSCHENECTADY, NY -- Upstate resident Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout, who gained infamy over three decades ago when she would not take the garbage out, said in an interview today that no amount of parental or familial pressure would cause her to compromise her position and empty the kitchen rubbish bin.Despite the now-slimy and overflowing contents of the household trash can, including greasy napkins, cookie crumbs, globs of gooey bubble gum, Stout, now 43, has for years steadfastly refused to take part in one of the most trivial of domestic tasks. At age nine, Stout’s childhood home was destroyed after she eschewed the two-minute chore for several months. According to eyewitness accounts, the garbage rolled on down the hall, it raised the roof, it broke the wall.Rescue personnel, who were dispatched after receiving reports of an explosion in the area, were quick to realize that the house was actually leveled by pizza crusts and withered greens, soggy beans and tangerines, crusts of black burned buttered toast, gristly bits of beefy roasts. Her father, Hank Stout, recalled her demeanor as a youth. “She’d scour the pots, scrape the pans, candy the yams and spice the hams. And though [I] would scream and shout, she simply would not take the garbage out.”By late 1974, the garbage reached across the state, from New York to the Golden Gate. Now it has extended out over the Pacific Ocean, past Hawaii, and has nearly reached mainland China, causing international tensions to flare.Besides being visible from space, the trash heap, which contains moldy melons, dried-up mustard, eggshells mixed with lemon custard, cold french fries and rancid meat, yellow lumps of Cream of Wheat, is of such significance that it might soon replace the Grand Canyon as the eighth wonder of the world, according to rumors.© 2008 The Teaspoon Times (with help from the late Shel Silverstein, whose brilliant poetry played a hefty role in this article)

I'm getting it slowly but surely
So I think i'm getting the hang of this customizing my blog thing. I was finally able to change my layout and colors of the text. Its a wonder why people are always blogging. This is gonna be a new and very fascinating worl for me.
I spent most of my time at work today on blogcatalog.com checking out other people's blogs. And I must say..I am inspired..tremendously. But sorry if you think I'll be on here all the time. And just a quick note...I am by no means a writer. I just say whatever, whenever. Especially in a house full of boys--I have a lot to say. So sit back and relax people..........
There's a new blogger in town!

Children are not yours, they are only lent to you for a time. In those fleeting years, do your best to help them grow up to be good people.
