Chocolate wasted...NOT

It's Friday night. Normally I would be eating some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. But not tonight. Tonight I am watching Underworld Evolution with a mint julep mask on. Problem? No problem. But a question...how do I satisfy my chocolate craving without chocolate?

You see...I am taking part of a "chocolate challenge." It all started with a simple blog post by Melanie (@melruns). Comments were left, chocolate seemed to be everyones kryptonite, chocolate challenge was born. Instead of eating chocolate, we will reach for a piece of fruit or something healthy.

At first I was like, shooooot I got this. I don't eat chocolate everyday, just once in awhile, I'm gravy! AH! WRONG! Got to work today, there were peanut M&Ms (my freaking fave), chocolate chip muffins, and chocolate on chocolate cupcakes! What the feezy?!! No fruit in the office, so I had a string cheese. As I pulled and ate strand by strand, I silently glared at all the chocolate goodness. Bah humbug! And now I have a craving. Like a real live craving. Like the ones I used to get when I was pregnant. Meh! And in this movie the character Tanus is getting his fill of blood from nekkid vamps. He gets to satisfy his craving while I watch...thinking damnit...I want some hot chocolate. (How the 2 relate, I have no idea. See how I'm all ready delusional?)

I want to go as long as I can just to see how long I can go without it. Not even a tiny piece. Not even hot chocolate.

  2. Omygoodness, I could have never done something like that! I love chocolate way too much. Lol. I get it about the vamps fulfilling their cravings and you not doing so. Your not delusional. Lol. Also, I used to love mint julep masks! Now I used Clinique so I just use their mask. :)

  4. This made me laugh! My cravings are actually getting worse as the days go on, not better. I'm hoping that there's a breakthrough point where I don't even think about it anymore... but I'm not quite sure that's possible

  6. um, yeah ... you are brave doing that challenge. i couldn't do it. and the worst part is that if i challenged myself to that task i'd fail just because i'd start thinking about chocolate non-stop.

good luck and if it makes you feel any better. i didn't have any chocolate today and i am not even doing the challenge, hehe.
