Resolutions, BLEHsolution...

**NOTE: Yes I know I have been gone for like a week. Sue me. I was on vacay from work**

So by the title you can totally see that I am not into the whole resolutions for the new year thing this year. Ya...I'm over it. Way to start the year huh lol. I will tell you this though. I have big plans. BIG PLANS I tell you! Change is in the air. The first major thing you will see is that in a couple weeks, or month or so, the Locker Room will be getting a face lift. WOOHOO! WOOT WOOT! I of course will let you all know when the process starts and tell you who will be doing the face lift (she's great).
Um let's see...what else...Oh ya! A friend and I started a book club here in Austin called Books & Beers. This is so NOT your average book club either. We're totally doing great reads of course, but also fun books and cooking books too. And oh the BEER. Ok so for our first book we are reading "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larsson. He's a Swedish author so we're going to be drinking Swedish beer and Swedish themed cocktails! FUN!! So excited about this project. I'll be posting here about what books we are discussing and giving you my "review" of them, and also doing like a beer/cocktail kind of review too. So I'm definitely inviting all of you to join us from afar.
I am also making my FB page more interactive. Discussions, contests, picture war...I want to here from YOU! I wanna SEE YOU :) and if you haven't already...please like my new FB page so you can be a part of the fun things to come.
Some of you already know that I have 2 other blogs besides this one. I will be promoting one of them A LOT this month. Trust me ladies...you'll want to look out for that one. The other, my strictly picture blog, I am thinking of making it private...just for my family. They really are the reason why I even created that one. But I'm still on the fence about it because instead of doing the 365 project on their site, I may just do it on my photo blog. We shall see.

Change is good! Change is progressive. Don't PLAN to change. Just do it!

  2. A few days ago I heard the best phrase that I have personally adopted.....rather than making New Years Resolution this year, I am making New Years Intentions. That way, if I fail miserably, it's ok! And if I succeed - woot!
